(EPA Photo)MANILA: A hat-trick from veteran striker Teerasil Dangda helped pace Thailand to a 4-2 win over Indonesia to open their quest for a record fifth AFF Suzuki Cup on Saturday. The Thai side appeared clearly inspired by their 2-2 draw with Australia in their World Cup qualifier in Bangkok on Tuesday. Thailand, however, found a second wind and maintained a strong edge in possession before Teerasil restored their lead in the 79th minute. In Saturday's other match, Group A hosts the Philippines were playing Singapore starting at 7pm Thailand time. Kiatisak led the War Elephants to Suzuki Cup glory two years ago when they beat Malaysia in the final to lift the trophy for a record-equalling fourth time.
